"Yes, the theatre can play an enormous part in the transformation of the whole of existence.” ― Vsevolod Meyerhold
Wayne began his journey as a theatre artist when he was very young by doing plays, puppet shows and musicals at school, in his bedroom, backyard, at shopping malls; pretty much anywhere he could find an audience. He trained at the Tony award-winning Actors Theatre of Louisville in their apprentice program under Bob Krakower and got his BA in Theatre/Communications and Writing from Susquehanna University. He moved to Chicago and then came back to the East Coast where he got his MFA in Acting from a top-ranked professional theatre training program (University of Delaware's PTTP) that now exists as a professional theatre company, the REP. His theatre journey has been a long and fulfilling one and he continues to work in the theatre when his schedule allows. Living day to day creating stories with people, props, costumes and language has been a great way to live a life. He hopes to bring the magic of theatre to bigger and bigger audiences and tell as many stories about as many human beings (and other types of beings) as he can in this lifetime.
