SHORT SCRIPTWRITING is for those of you who would like to create your own work for a reel, short film or one person monologue. (This class will be presented online in the near future due to the COVID-19 pandemic.)
I'm a firm believer that all writers should take an acting class and we are currently offering a FREE Online Zoom Acting class on Tuesday evenings at 7 pm. If you'd like to participate, send Wayne an email to email@example.com with the SUBJECT FREE Zoom Acting Class. You will receive the Wayne Pyle Acting Coaching Newsletter with information about how to join the free acting class.
We'll discuss how acting techniques can help us write stronger scenes that get noticed and tell great stories that capture your audience's attention. We'll read each other's work and make suggestions about how we can strengthen our storytelling through techniques used by writers and actors.
The cost of this class is TBD and is for adult students (18+) only.
Please sign up for Short Scriptwriting below.
(Wayne's award-winning short play, BURNT TOAST, appeared at both the Actors Theatre of Louisville, KY, and The Griffin Theatre, Chicago. His short TV script, ZABREWSKI'S ZOO, was a prize-winning finalist for the Klasky-Csupo Writing Competition. Wayne has taught short scriptwriting at SUNY Dutchess. He continues to create and produce short scripts.)
*There are no guarantees that employment will be offered as a result of taking these classes. By taking a class, you acknowledge that you are being given an opportunity to learn and experience how professional actors work in their respective fields and that any audition and/or coaching sessions may not lead to an offer for paid work. Payment due by cash or check made out to Wayne Pyle on or before the first class meeting or online through Venmo.com or PayPal. Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
